I take a lifestyle approach to newborn photography, making each session unique by capturing your family's first days together in the comfort of your home.
Don’t stress about packing the changing bag and leaving the house on time. Pour yourself a cuppa, sit and relax, and I’ll take care of the rest.
What can I expect from my newborn gallery?
You'll look at the photographs full of meaningful memories with your new baby, and remember feeling relaxed at home in your love bubble.
After your session, you'll receive a link via e-mail to your beautifully presented gallery of photos, and from there you can choose your favourite images according to which photography package you've bought, and download them straight to your computer or phone. You can also order professional prints through me to display in your home.
I have 3 pricing packages. They all include the same session time, and you can choose how many photos you'd like included. See the options below.
But my home isn't spotless!
Stay sitting - don't you dare start blitzing the house!
Newborns and spotless houses are mutually exclusive, and for good reason - new parents are too preoccupied caring for their new little bundle to be stressing about housework. And that's what I will capture for you - the all-consuming love and attention that your new baby is soaking up. Everything else can melt away.
I will find the best windows to use for light, and may re-position some furniture and move any distracting objects out of shot (but I also love to include personal items like blankets or special gifts). I'll mainly shoot in the lounge, the master bedroom, baby's nursery, and perhaps find a sofa or chair for you all to snuggle on. But my photos center around people, love and connection, not your home décor.
I may even do the whole session in one spot of the house if the light is perfect there!
What if my baby cries?
My newborn photoshoots are completely baby-led. If they want to be held by you, that's fine, or if they're happy to have some solo photographs snuggled in some blankets, that's great too. I keep things natural and relaxed, photographing the squishy cuddles, adorable yawns, tiny features, and tender moments - without the stiff poses.

Relaxed newborn photography
Having your newborn session at home means you're already in your safe space before we've begun, so families tend to relax around the camera quite quickly. You've not had to pack up and rush anywhere, and you've not had to worry about outfit changes in the event of a poonami!
We'll chat and laugh, and all the while I'll take photos of your life as it is today, and as you'll want to remember it.
Older siblings are very welcome too, In my pre-session questionnaire I'll ask for tips on their interests, so that I can make the session fun for them and make them feel special and included too.
