I'm Emma, a documentary wedding photographer based in Nantwich, capturing relaxed, joy-filled celebrations throughout Cheshire. Being local means I'm lucky enough to work at some incredible venues right on my doorstep, from elegant country houses to intimate registry office ceremonies.

There are so many wonderful wedding venues in and around Nantwich, and I'm lucky enough to have photographed at many of them. From elegant country estates and beautiful beamed barns to historic town halls, there's something for every kind of celebration.

One of my favourite things about wedding photography is seeing how each couple makes their day completely their own. I can photograph several weddings at the same venue, yet no two ever feel the same. The people, the atmosphere, the little personal touches and the moments shared with family and friends all make every wedding unique.

We're incredibly lucky to have Rookery Hall right on our doorstep in Nantwich. I've photographed both intimate weddings and larger celebrations there, in every season from cosy winter weddings to sunny summer days. It's such a versatile venue, with beautiful grounds for outdoor photographs and elegant indoor spaces that work perfectly whatever the British weather decides to do.

Just a short drive away is Crewe Town Hall, which offers a completely different feel. I love the romance and simplicity of town hall weddings; there's something so special about stripping the day back to what matters most and celebrating with the people you love. Whether you're planning a relaxed ceremony or a larger celebration, it's a beautiful setting for a wedding that's full of personality.
